Posters for Display at the 2023 PX Symposium —
Application Deadline:
July 15th, 2023

The Patient Experience Symposium is now accepting proposals for posters that present original research, innovative ideas, or practical applications in the latest evidence-based practices to improve Patient (and workforce) Experience.
The poster session is supported by the Journal of Patient Experience (JPX).
-
When are poster submissions due? The submission link will be open from May 15 - July 15, 2023.
All accepted posters should have one (or more) presenters registered to attend the event in Boston.
-
Who should submit posters? Healthcare professionals/researchers with outcomes relevant to patient (and workforce) experience improvement. Research can be emergent (not yet fully collected) and may represent a quality improvement (QI) effort and/or a more rigorous academic project. Case studies/reports will be considered if accompanied by data/results to demonstrate evidence of effectiveness.
-
How will the submissions be reviewed? Reviewers from The Journal of Patient Experience will provide a double-blind assessment to determine the acceptability of each submission. Reviewers possess the academic and practical experience to ensure high-quality presentations.
-
When and how will I be notified of acceptance? The submitting poster presenter will be notified via email by July 28, 2023, regarding acceptance.
-
If accepted, how will my poster be displayed? Each poster should be represented by one (or more) in-person attendees at the onsite event. Posters will be displayed throughout the entire event (Sept 19 and 20) near the registration/networking area to maximize exposure. See below for details regarding design specifications. A designated time for poster “presentations” will occur on Sept 20, which is when the representative should be present at the poster to answer questions.
A digital poster session will also appear via the online ICD network, to expand exposure beyond the in-person attendees. In-person attendees will also be encouraged to access the online posters for ease of viewing and reading all content presented. A contact person should be listed so that attendees (in-person and online) can contact the poster representative.
-
What is the cost of registration for poster attendees at the in-person event? Accepted poster representatives attending the event will be provided with a 25% discount code for conference registration, in support of their poster contribution. No travel support is provided.
-
What should my submission include? (See the form below)
