Joshua Hollander, BCBS
Josh currently serves as a Manager in the Practice & Payment Transformation division of CareFirst BlueCross Blue Shield. In this role, he is responsible for developing and implementing new value-based payment arrangements with community-based health systems while carrying out CareFirst’s 5-year transition from “Volume to Value.” Collaborating with a team of experts in value-based payment models, practice transformation, data analytics, contracting strategists, and provider-relationship collaborators, josh is dedicated to making healthcare more affordable and accessible for the communities CareFirst serves.
His organizational leadership and healthcare experience has spanned 20 years in the payer, private practice, and nonprofit settings and has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University, Waltham, Massachusetts, a Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University, Marietta, Georgia and a Master of Business Administration from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. In addition to Josh’s healthcare work he is a adjunct instructor of economics and business management at WITS college, Baltimore, Maryland.
