Born in Chicago and a city girl through and through, Betsy Herald moved to Boston in 1991 to study journalism at Emerson College. Graduating in 1995 she moved to Los Angeles for an opportunity to work on the OJ Simpson Trial coverage for E Entertainment Television.

But Betsy's two new loves; Boston and Real Estate drew her back to New England where she has been building her career as a successful Realtor ever since. Betsy is soon celebrating her 25th Anniversary at The Charles Realty in Back Bay and has become a force in her field. Respected for her ethics, drive and team attitude, Betsy has achieved honors such as Back Bay Top 10 Broker and Real Estate Advisor to WBZ Radio.

Betsy also has returned to her original pursuit of journalism by combining her two passions and hosting the HGTV Network's Sale of Two Cities.

With a passion for travel and animals Betsy boasts the honor of over 10 years as the Assistant Director of Great Dog Rescue New England an all-breed, foster-based, dog rescue. Her combined efforts have resulted in the placement of over 20,000 dogs in new homes. During her treatment at Dana Farber, Betsy entertained other radiation patients by bringing puppies to the radiation lounge and even adopted dogs to three of her nursing staff!

With all she has achieved in life, Betsy is most proud of her 23-year marriage to her husband, Richard and her 20 year old son, Bryce who is studying to become a doctor.
