Jonathan Sonis, MD, MHCM, is an Emergency Physician at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in Boston, Massachusetts, where he serves as Chair of Quality and Safety, Co-Director of Patient Experience, and Founder and Co-Chair of the Patient and Family Advisory Council for the Emergency Department (ED). He is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School and the Program Director of the Emergency Medicine Administration Fellowship at MGH.
Dr. Sonis received his MD with Alpha Omega Alpha honors from the Tufts University School of Medicine and completed his residency training at the Harvard-Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency where he served as a Chief Resident. He earned his Master in Health Care Management at the Harvard School of Public Health.
