Martie Carnie is the Senior Patient Experience Advisor at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She is a 34-year-three-time cancer survivor and advocate. As a Co-Chair of the first Adult Patient Family Advisory Council in the United States, she became a leader in patient- and family-centered care and has been doing Patient and Family Engagement nationally and internationally for 25 years. As a PCORI Ambassador she C0-Chairs Patient Family Caregivers Stakeholder councils through the research process.
